After months of careful planning, strategizing, and implementation, we are glad to announce one of our most exciting integrations yet!

We have now connected the Bumpa app with Meta: the parent company for Instagram, Facebook, and WhatsApp, in a bid to make sales on social media easier and faster for business owners in Nigeria and Africa by extension.

What Does This Integration Mean?

Bumpa users can now connect their Instagram and Facebook account to their Bumpa app, receive DMs and respond from their Bumpa app.

Basically, with the integration, all your DMs from Instagram and Facebook come to one place: your Bumpa app.

Additionally, you can now share products, sell products, share invoices/receipts, and record sales with just the tap of a button on the Bumpa app, and it goes straight to your customers' DM on Instagram.

The History:

The story of how we got here with Meta

Bumpa, as a startup, started with one aim in mind: to make business management easy for business owners anywhere and everywhere they sell.

The solution the Bumpa app provides is simple yet huge: provide business owners with an app that helps display products, issue invoices/receipts, record expenses, send messages to customers, receive business reports, record sales from every channel they sell, and so much more.

Simply speaking, the idea and the mission is to meet business owners wherever they sell and make the entire process of selling easier, and we’ve been doing this for over a year now.

Then we discovered something. Asides from the conventional methods of selling products that our users are used to, such as physical shops, websites, marketplaces, etc, there’s a booming market for selling on social media.

Social commerce on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, Twitter, TikTok was driving massive SME sales.

A survey of our users will show that over 30% of the sales recorded on the Bumpa app come from Instagram, Facebook, and WhatsApp alone.

Additionally, statistics from Meta have caught our business eye.

Statistics show that over 80% of Instagram users have said that they discover new products and decide whether they want to buy a product or service on Instagram.

Instagram has also reported that 65% of people on it’s platform, that come across a brand on Instagram visit the brand’s website or app

With over 1 billion users across the world on Instagram alone, it is clear that there is a huge market for entrepreneurs on Instagram, WhatsApp, and Facebook, and that’s the very reason we have worked tirelessly over the past few months to make this integration possible.
