Bumpa's New Subscription Updates

I am pretty sure you’ve seen emails, community posts, and videos informing you about our upcoming subscription changes. 

Well, it’s finally here, and the changes will take effect on August 20th, 2024. 

This article will inform you about the changes to expect, new prices, feature add-ons, and restrictions across different subscription plans.

Why Are We Making Changes to Our Plans? Why Now? 

Why now? Because it’s long overdue. 

We have maintained the same subscription prices for three years despite adding new and improved features to the app and solely bearing increased costs of service from our partners. 

This is not to mention increased inflation and other things.

Regardless of these factors, we have tried to make the changes as conducive as possible by informing you way ahead of time, adding benefits where we can, and only removing benefits where we must. 

The New Pricing.

Here are a few things you should, however, note: 

• The subscription billing remains a quarterly payment. 

• Each plan's price has increased with massive savings on 6-month & 1-year payments. 

• New quarterly pricing:  

• Starter: 15,000/quarterly

• Pro: 30,000/quarterly

• Growth: 250,000/yearly.

What Are The Major Things Changing? 

There are feature additions and limits on each subscription plan. which will all take effect on the 20th of August, 2024.

You can check the pricing page to know if you are within or above the feature limits on your plan. Here are the major changes you should know about:

Product Uploads Have Increased

We have increased the number of products each subscription plan has significantly.

Product Variations are Now Factored into Product Count

We now treat Product Variants as products and they’re counted in your total number of products. 

For example, if you have a Tolani Dress with Options in Size and Colour, Tolani Dress XL Blue (which is a variation) is counted as a product.

This is because we now allow users to add specific images for each product variation, variations get unique product analytics, unique barcodes, and can even have their unique prices and quantities.

NB: The process of adding products remains the same, but variations now count in your Product Count. Also, we’re introducing a Total Products banner so you can know the number of products you’ve added per time. 

Favicon is now available for Every Plan

All subscription plans now have access to add their favicons (business logo) on their website link. 

Shipping Integration Available for Starter 1-Year Plan

Bumpa Starter (one-year payment) now has access to the shipping integration from ShipBubble and Fez. 

Exclusive Features on Growth Plan:

We’ve introduced amazing premium features on Bumpa Growth like: 

Store Checkout feature(Point of Sale)

You know that thing you see in supermarkets where they scan your items, and it shows the product on their system, calculates the total, and prints out a receipt? Yeah? We have that entire software system on Bumpa!

Barcode Generator & Scanner software.

• We have a barcode generator and scanner software that you can use to create unique barcodes for your products, scan them, and automatically record sales in your physical store with the Store checkout feature. Isn’t that just amazing?

Imagine being able to give your small business that supermarket-level inventory management! This is now possible on the Bumpa Growth plan. 

Multiple Locations Management:

• If you have physical stores in different locations, we have a business management system that helps you independently manage those businesses with their own inventory, orders, etc, within the same Bumpa app.

Your Bumpa website also becomes 2 in 1 or 5 in 1 where customers can choose the location they want to shop from. 

Lots of unlimited features

We’ve made recording Sales, Customers, Expense Records, and Creating Discounts/Coupons unlimited features for all plans.

Bulk Actions

You can take actions on multiple products and Orders all at once on the Pro and Growth plan, e.g., Bulk Change Price, Bulk Add Discount, Bulk Mark as Paid, etc.

Frequently Asked Questions. 

When will the price change take effect?

Answer: August 20th, 2024. 

I have an active subscription. What happens when these new updates become live?

Answer: Your subscription still remains active. The new feature additions and restrictions will apply to you, but the new price will only affect you when your active plan expires and you need to renew. 

Can I pay in advance/extend my subscription plan before August 20th? 

Answer: Yes. You can renew or pay for a new subscription plan before August 20th at the old price, by clicking here.

What happens if my current product count has passed the new limits?

Answer: The excess products will be deactivated, and you will have the option of upgrading to a bigger plan or purchasing product slots.

Can I pay for a subscription plan monthly? 

Answer: No. Our subscription billing is still on a quarterly, bi-annually, and yearly basis.
